Temperature Instrument Calibration

Accurate Temperature Reference Standards Calibration for the Life Sciences

Pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies depend on the accuracy of their equipment, which is why they depend on Masy to confirm that accuracy. With our industry-leading and SI traceable temperature calibration services, you can count on us to make sure your temperature standards, thermometers and sensors are precise.

Temperature calibration is a critical process in any GLP lab and GMP manufacturing environment. When your thermometry standards are correctly calibrated, you don’t have to worry about the integrity of your production chain. Accurate temperature reference standards ensure product safety and efficacy, in addition to assuring that operations are profitable.

Maximum Accuracy and Minimal Measurement Uncertainty in Primary Standards Calibration

When you choose Masy for your primary standards calibration, you get Masy’s commitment to quality and excellence. We provide maximum accuracy and minimal measurement uncertainty for primary standards and laboratory instruments. Our expert team performs reference thermometry calibrations in our 10,000-ft2 environmentally controlled calibration lab, one of the few labs in the country that meet the rigorous qualifications for NVLAP accreditation to ISO 17025:2017 (NVLAP lab code 200904-0).

The lab is environmentally controlled, maintained at 21.5°C (±0.5 °C) and 40% RH (±5%) to ensure accurate and repeatable results in temperature calibration, featuring the highest-quality thermometer calibration standards and state-of-the-art calibration technology. Your temperature equipment will achieve maximum accuracy with our primary standards calibrations to SPRTs and NIST certified fixed-point cells.

We offer SI traceable thermometry calibration from -196°C through 1200°C as well as NVLAP accredited set point calibration in the -189°C to 660°C range
(NVLAP lab code 200904-0).

Consistently Accurate Results

When you enhance the quality, accuracy and regulatory compliance of your thermometry instruments, you improve the integrity of your end products. Masy reduces the threat of even the smallest inaccuracies, so you can have confidence in your thermometry devices. We work with you to find the solution that fits your needs, whether that’s calibrating a single device or a large inventory of thermometry instruments.

Monitoring lab conditions throughout your calibration cycle is critical to accurate results. Masy monitors our lab conditions 24/7 and halts calibrations if conditions stray from your environmental specifications. We record the environmental conditions on each calibration certificate to build greater confidence in our calibration services.

Masy’s primary reference standards are traceable to the International System of Units (SI) through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or other national metrology institutes, which allow us to provide optimal measurement accuracy. Many of Masy's primary reference standards are hand-carried to NIST for calibration and direct traceability.
