Premium Validation Thermocouples
Type T Thermocouples Designed for Optimal Validation and Thermal Mapping
Masy’s Ultra-Premium Select Grade, Type T thermocouples are optimally designed for validation and thermal mapping, from -200°C to 300°C. They are made from ultra-premium select grade wire, which provides the highest purity and uniformity and durability available in the industry.
Type-T Thermocouples are a traditional tool used in the accurate validation of environmental chambers, refrigerators, freezers, autoclaves, and chambers in the biopharma industries. They use the thermoelectric effect of two dissimilar conductors to measure temperature. They are useful for measuring temperatures across different ranges and environmental conditions because of the predictable and repeatable thermoelectric properties of specific alloys
Our thermocouples offer ±0.18°C accuracy at 0°C to ensure precise thermal measurements. Every set is tested before releasing to our customer. Thermocouple sets can be cut to length, harnessed in groups of 12 or 16, labeled or flagged for visibility, and steam-sliced for sterilization applications. We also have raw wire spools, labels, and tip kits available for fabricating your own thermocouples. Feed-through assemblies are available for sale or rent for easy placement of thermocouples into closed systems such as sterilizers.
FEP Insulated Thermocouples
FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) insulated thermocouples are suited for temperature mapping in freezers, refrigerators, incubators, stability chambers and any steam application (steam-in-place, autoclaves).
- Temperature rating: -200°C to 200°C
- Applications: cold rooms, stability rooms, steam sterilizers, autoclaves, fermenters, steam-in-place, vessels, and tanks
- Temperature rating: -200°C to 200°C
- Applications: incubators, stability chambers, refrigerators, freezers, cryogenic storage, fermenters, steam-in-place, vessels, and tanks

Kapton Insulated Thermocouple
Kapton is a polyimide film that remains stable across a wide range of temperatures. These probes work well in dehydrogenation ovens, and other dry-heat-only applications. They are rated for continuous use at temperatures up to 300°C. Short-term exposure (under 6 hours) is acceptable at temperatures between 300°C and 350°C.
Customized Harness
We create custom, pre-assembled thermocouple harnesses for your specific needs. They can be cut to length, tipped, and harnessed in bundles of 12 or 16, and can be individually labeled with steam-resistant, high-visibility numeric labels at both ends. Label options include EZ-Read numeric label flags for greater visibility or smaller-profile shrink labels. We can also connect thermocouple sets to rental Kaye validators so you can plug and play. We also offer Kaye validators to help you complete your validation projects quickly and accurately.
