Masy Systems donates laptops to local high school chemistry program

Christine Rice (AP Chemistry Teacher) accepts laptop from Laurie Masiello (President - Masy Systems)Pepperell, MA  - March 29, 2010 -- The students of North Middlesex High School were happy to know that they will no longer share laptops in their Advanced Placement Chemistry program.   Ms. Christine Rice, AP Chemistry teacher, brings technology into the classroom by having her students perform all their work online.  With the current economic climate, all students are not allocated a laptop from the school, and many families cannot afford to provide them individually.

Two parents of present and former AP Chemistry students at NMRHS work at Masy Systems, Dawn Hallett and Burke Bero.  When Masy announced internally there was surplus equipment, both Dawn and Burke requested a donation to this program.  John and Laurie Masiello, owners of the Pepperell company, were pleased to support the cause.

Masy Systems is located in Lomar Park in Pepperell and is a strong supporter of local projects.  Masy currently employees over 40 people, many from Pepperell and Townsend.
