Job Summary:

This position is responsible for storage of customer products requiring specific environmental conditions.  Duties involve ensuring that the environment is within specified parameters, responding to out of tolerance situations, communicating with customers and documentation.  Abide by area work instructions to ensure customer product is stored appropriately and moves to and from customer and to and from Masy with appropriate controls.  Monitor equipment to ensure status compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Interface with sales to clearly identify customer requirements and Masy’s ability to meet their needs
• Work with customers to determine handling and storage specifications
• Utilize customer contact list for emergency issues
• May be required to assist with pick-ups and deliveries on occasion (<10% of the time)
• Document specific customer requirements in customer database
• Follow general laboratory principles and specific in-house procedures
• Create or revise area procedures and work instructions
• Understand temperature and time as they relate to customer storage needs
• Schedule and update orders and status in the storage database
• Generate reports to document incoming and outgoing shipments
• Report questionable issues to supervisor for evaluation and determination
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor
  
  

Education/Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years lab experience
  
  

Additional Experience/Skills:

• GMP/GLP, ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 compliant
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient with Windows Office suite and database management
• Ability to plan, organize and manage work initiatives
• Detail oriented
  
  

Physical Demands:

• Drug testing
• Inoculations specific for customer needs
• Work environment is typically general office and laboratory
• Some travel required
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
